Martin® VPlow™ HD is an economical tail pulley protection solution for medium to heavy duty conveyor applications. Fugitive material commonly migrates from the cargo side to the return side of a belt during normal operation; if it reaches the tail pulley it can gouge and damage both the pulley face and the belt, or be crushed onto the pulley face, causing slippage and fouling. The VPlow HD rides against the inside of the return belt in a V-shape, ejecting stray material to both sides of the belt before it can enter the tail pulley. The durable 80 Shore A Durometer nitrile rubber blade delivers 2 in. (50 mm) of wear life at service temperatures up to 250°F. Used for:
