Martin ApronSeal Single Skirting
A dual sealing conveyor skirtboard system that prevents spillage and dust without requiring regular service to maintain an effective seal. The primary seal clamps to the chute wall while a self-adjusting secondary seal lays outward, out of the material flow. Applicable on multiple troughing angles and supplied in continuous lengths with no splices. Supplied by Pankaj Enterprises as part of the genuine Martin Engineering range.
Product Description
Martin® ApronSeal™ Single Skirting is a dual sealing system for conveyor skirtboards that prevents spillage without requiring service to maintain an effective seal. The primary seal is clamped to the chute wall, while a self-adjusting secondary seal lays outward to create an effective dust seal that stays out of the material flow. Built as a one-piece construction for ease of installation, the EPDM 70 rubber composite offers good chemical resistance and a low-abrasion index, and requires less free belt edge than heavy duty or double skirting arrangements. Used for:
- Sealing conveyor skirtboards against spillage and airborne dust at loading zones
- Transfer points where minimal ongoing skirting maintenance is required
- Long skirtboard runs needing a splice-free, continuous seal
- Conveyors with 0°, 20°, 35° or 45° troughing angles
Also available in food grade thermoplastic rubber and high temperature silicone-based rubber, in 12 or 24 ft lengths.
