Martin SQC2S Reduced Mini Cleaner
A compact secondary belt cleaner purpose-built for installation in close quarters, with a narrow profile that resists material buildup. Individually-cushioned tungsten carbide blades back up the primary cleaner to remove leftover fugitive material. Supplied by Pankaj Enterprises as part of the genuine Martin Engineering range.
Product Description
Martin® SQC2S™ Reduced Mini (RM) Cleaner is a compact secondary belt cleaner engineered for applications where installation space at the head pulley is limited. Its narrow profile resists material buildup, requiring just 5.27 inches (134 mm) of space from the tip of the blade to the bottom of the mainframe. Patented rubber buffers maintain consistent cleaning pressure while deflecting to allow splices to pass without damage, even on reversing belts. The rugged construction incorporates individually-cushioned stainless steel blades with tungsten carbide tips, so the blade sections conform to the belt profile and adjust individually to deliver continuous contact across the entire belt width. Used for:
- Backing up the primary belt cleaner to remove leftover fugitive material and return it to the material stream
- Secondary cleaning in confined spaces where standard secondary cleaners will not fit
- Applications involving reversing belts, corrosive environments or high-tonnage loads
- Biomass, recycling, waste-to-energy, trash sorting, foundry and steel production conveyors
Removable cartridge design allows quick blade replacement: remove pin, slide out cartridge, service and return. Rated for operating temperatures between -30°F and 300°F.
