PIX-MUSCLE®-XS3 High-power, Maintenance-free Wrap Belts
PIX-MUSCLE®-XS3 is a high-power, maintenance-free wrap-construction V-belt designed to deliver up to 50% more power than standard belts from a smaller drive footprint. A heavy-duty CR-rubberized cover and maintenance-free polyester cord keep the belt running efficiently at up to 98% efficiency, without re-tensioning, across SPZ to SPC and 3V/5V/8V narrow sections. Product Description
PIX-MUSCLE®-XS3 belts were developed for plants that need to shrink drive space and cut maintenance without giving up power. Compared with a standard wrap-construction belt of the same section, MUSCLE-XS3 carries up to 50% more load, so fewer, narrower belts can replace a wider bank of conventional belts on the same drive — PIX's own cost-benefit studies show space savings of around 26% and weight savings of around 11% on typical blower drives.
The belt's heavy-duty, special-woven CR rubberized cover offers higher gripping strength and reduced sidewall wear, while a fibre-filled, high-modulus CR-based compression matrix adds transverse rigidity. Maintenance-free, low-stretch polyester cords hold belt tension over the service life, eliminating the need for re-tensioning. The range covers SPZ, SPA, SPB and SPC wedge sections plus 3V, 5V and 8V narrow sections, and is manufactured to BS 3790, ISO 4184 and RMA IP-22 reference standards.
