PIX-DUO®-XS Twin-power, Hexagonal Wrap Belts
PIX-DUO®-XS is a hexagonal (double V) wrap belt built to transmit power from both faces of the belt, making it the belt of choice for serpentine drives with multiple reverse bends. A wear-resistant rubberized fabric cover, high-tenacity rubber cushion and polyester tensile cord keep the belt aligned both laterally and longitudinally in the pulley groove during operation. Product Description
PIX-DUO®-XS Hexagonal, or Double V, belts are formed by joining two V-belt profiles side by side so that power can be transmitted from either face of the belt. This construction is purpose-built for drives where the belt travel changes direction repeatedly — serpentine drives and multi-pulley layouts — which place unusual lateral stress on a conventional single V-belt.
A wear-resistant, bias-cut, rubberized blended-fabric cover and a center polyester cord give the belt excellent power transmission with low stretch, while the special hexagonal profile maintains alignment both laterally and longitudinally in the pulley groove throughout the reverse bends. The range covers AA, BB, CC and 25 sections and is manufactured to IS 11038-1984.
