Martin® Dust Bag is a passive dust collection system that installs above the conveyor loading zone to capture airborne dust without consuming any energy. Unlike active systems, it requires no fan: air escaping the skirted section passes through the satin nylon bag, which withstands positive pressure from crushers and other air sources while allowing dust to agglomerate and settle. When loading stops, the bag relaxes and returns the captured material back to the belt. Both Standard and Static Dissipating bags are available in 12 in. (300 mm) and 24 in. (600 mm) diameters, with the larger size recommended once airflow exceeds 450 cfm. Used for:

• Controlling airborne dust at conveyor loading and transfer points without a fan
• Sites with airflow below 1000 cfm where active filtration is unnecessary

Clamped in place, the bag is equipped with a hanging grommet and a grounding strap to disperse static electricity.
