The BCH Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB) is a compact, fuseless device combining a low-voltage circuit breaker with thermal-magnetic overload protection to safeguard motors from short circuits, overloads and phase failure. Available across a 0.1A to 63A range with a built-in contactor-and-relay function, the BCH MPCB removes the need for additional protective components. Product Description
An MPCB (Motor Protection Circuit Breaker) is a specialised electromechanical device that protects motors from short circuits, line-to-ground faults, line-to-line faults, overload and phase imbalance or phase loss, while withstanding motor starting currents without nuisance tripping. The BCH MPCB is designed to work reliably across both 50Hz and 60Hz motor circuits.
Because the BCH MPCB combines circuit-breaker and thermal-overload protection with an in-built contactor and relay function, it removes the need for a separate contactor and relay, reducing panel wiring and space. Adjustable current settings, clear trip indication, and side/top mounting auxiliary contacts make it easy to specify and maintain in AHU panels, air compressors, elevators, cranes and other variable-load motor applications.
