PIX-FORCE® EPDM Automotive Raw Edge Cogged Banded Belts
PIX-FORCE® EPDM Automotive Raw Edge Cogged Banded Belts join multiple cogged V-belt strands into a single banded construction, giving lateral stability and uniform load-sharing for heavier-duty automotive and off-highway accessory drives.
Product Description
PIX-FORCE® EPDM belts in banded construction join multiple raw-edge cogged strands with a common tie-band, keeping the belts aligned under load and preventing individual strand roll-over or whip in demanding automotive and heavy-equipment accessory drives.
The belt uses a wear-resistant, EPDM-rubberized blended fabric cover, EPDM rubber cushion and compression compound, and a polyester tensile cord, giving anti-static, oil-resistant and heat-resistant performance from -45°C to +120°C. PIX manufactures the banded EPDM range in HAVX10, HAVX13, HXV15, HAX-AZ and HBX-AU sections, referencing BS ISO-5287, DIN 7753-3, SAE J 636 and JASO E 107.
