PIX-Digital Tension Meter
The PIX-Digital Tension Meter is a fully electronic, microprocessor-based instrument for simple, high-accuracy belt tension measurement. It works on all belt types – V-belts, timing belts, banded belts and ribbed belts – over a measuring frequency range of 10 Hz to 600 Hz, and the belt's type, colour or condition does not affect the reading.
Product Description
The PIX-Digital Tension Meter uses contactless acoustic measurement to determine belt tension: the sensor is held close to the belt span, the belt is plucked, and the instrument reads the belt's natural vibration frequency and converts it into a tension value with repeatable accuracy. Background-noise suppression ensures a reliable reading even in noisy plant environments.
Its ergonomic gooseneck sensor design makes it easy to reach belts in confined drive layouts, and the instrument is suitable for all PIX belt constructions – V-belts, timing/synchronous belts, banded belts and ribbed/Poly-V belts.

Before measurement, switch off the drive mechanism to ensure that neither the drive shaft nor the driven shaft can rotate unintentionally, and observe the relevant safety instructions.
