NEUMAX Y-Type Strainers are simple, rugged in-line filtration devices with a Y-shaped body that houses a removable perforated or wire-mesh screen. As process fluid passes through the angled branch of the body, the screen traps solid contaminants while allowing clean fluid to continue downstream, protecting pumps, control valves, flow meters, steam traps and other precision equipment from damage caused by dirt, scale and debris.
