LOCTITE SI 59 W CR — 300ML
A white, neutral-cure RTV oxime silicone adhesive and sealant from the Loctite range, used as a form-in-place gasketing product suitable for a wide range of substrates. Cures on exposure to moisture in the air and does not corrode flange surfaces, unlike ordinary acetoxy-based RTV sealants. Supplied by Pankaj Enterprises as part of the genuine Loctite range.
Product Description
LOCTITE SI 59 W CR is a white, neutral-cure RTV oxime silicone adhesive and sealant used as a form-in-place gasketing product suitable for a wide range of substrates including metal, plastic, glass and ceramic. It occupies all surface imperfections between flange surfaces, providing a leak-proof seal. Used for:
- Sealing stamped sheet metal covers such as timing covers and oil sumps
- Sealing solar cell systems and industrial buzzer piezos
- Timing belt covers and bus body glass assembly
- Flange sealing on machinery and equipment housings
Chemical type: Oxime silicone. One component, requires no mixing. Cures on exposure to moisture in the air. Oxime silicones do not corrode flange surfaces, unlike acetoxy-based RTV sealants.
