Polypoxy PS — 20 L
A two-part, polysulphide-modified epoxy resin protective coating designed for superior adhesion, corrosion protection and high chemical resistance on concrete and steel structures. Combines the chemical resistance of epoxy with the flexibility and adhesion of polysulphide resins. Supplied by Pankaj Enterprises as part of the genuine Loctite/Henkel Polybit range.
Product Description
Polypoxy PS is a two-part, polysulphide modified epoxy resin protective coating designed for superior adhesion, corrosion protection and high chemical resistance on concrete and steel structures. It can be applied up to 1mm thickness to provide a flexible, elastomeric, crack-bridging coating that resists water and chemical attack. Used for:
- Corrosion protection of steel and concrete in fresh and salt water atmospheres
- Protection against chemical and carbonation attack
- Internal lining of manholes and treated sewage holding tanks
- Waterproofing and protection of swimming pools, water tanks and potable water structures
Chemical type: Polysulphide modified epoxy resin. Application life approx. 60 minutes. Curing time: tack-free in 6-8 hours, full cure in 7 days. Application temperature 5°C to 35°C; service temperature 5°C to 70°C.
