RCCB – Residual Current Circuit Breaker
The BCH Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) is an electrical safety device designed to detect leakage or residual current and disconnect the circuit when the rated sensitivity is exceeded. It helps protect people and electrical installations against electric shock, earth faults and fire risks caused by leakage currents.
Product Description
A Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) continuously compares the current flowing through the live and neutral conductors. Under normal conditions, the currents are balanced. When leakage or an earth fault creates a difference, the RCCB detects the residual current and trips the circuit.
BCH RCCBs include a test button for checking operation and are available in 2-pole and 4-pole configurations. The range covers 25A, 40A and 63A ratings with 30mA, 100mA and 300mA sensitivities, making the devices suitable for different protection requirements in electrical installations.
