Transmission Chain
Renold designs and manufactures high-performance transmission chain focused on wear resistance and fatigue resistance, in pitch sizes from 4mm up to 4 inch. Alongside its standard chain range, Renold offers specialist chains — Synergy, Syno, Sovereign and Hydro-Service — engineered to tackle corrosion, abrasion, shock loading and low-lubrication environments. Product Description
Whatever the working environment or chain requirement — heavy or light duty, indoor or outdoor, clean or contaminated, high or low temperature — Renold has a transmission chain engineered for it. The standard range uses a wide-waisted plate shape for extra fatigue resistance, paired with an end-softened, spin-riveted pin for easy installation:
- General Transmission Chain — Renold Synergy, standard Roller Chain, Renold A&S and Renold SD
- Low Maintenance Chain — Renold Syno NP, PC and PB, for drives where lubrication is difficult or undesirable
- Abrasion Resistant Chain — Renold Sovereign, for dusty and debris-laden environments
- Corrosion Resistant Chain — Hydro-Service, Stainless Steel, Zinc and Nickel Plated Chain for aggressive environments
- Standard Attachment Chain — ready for despatch within 72 hours
- Klik-Top Polymer Block Chain — blocks can be changed or replaced without disassembling the chain
Renold also supplies many adapted and special chains, including hollow bearing pin, extended pitch, sidebow, cranked link, bush and oilfield chain.
