Loctite SI 596 — 300ML
A red, one-part, flowable RTV acetoxy silicone paste sealant from the Loctite range, used as a form-in-place gasket sealant for high-temperature applications up to 315°C (600°F). Cures on exposure to moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible, waterproof, oil-resistant seal. Supplied by Pankaj Enterprises as part of the genuine Loctite range.
Product Description
Loctite SI 596 is a red, flowable, smooth, one-part RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) acetoxy silicone paste sealant that cures at room temperature on exposure to moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible, waterproof, oil-resistant silicone rubber seal. It withstands continuous service temperatures up to 315°C (600°F). Used for:
- Sealing industrial furnaces, ovens and boilers
- Exhaust stacks and high-temperature ducting
- Automotive high-temperature flange sealing
- Heating elements in electrical appliances
Chemical type: Acetoxy silicone. One component, requires no mixing. Cures on exposure to moisture in the air. Formulated to meet the low silicone-volatiles requirements of the automotive industry for 315°C flange sealants.
