KLUBER LUBRICATION PRODUCTS
Klüber Lubrication is a global leader in specialty lubricants, greases, oils and tribological solutions for industrial applications. Klübersynth GH 6-680 is a synthetic high-performance gear and high-temperature oil based on polyglycol for demanding gear and bearing lubrication.
Klübersynth® GH 6-680
Klübersynth GH 6-680 is a heavy-duty grease for highly loaded rolling bearings operating at low speeds. Its highly viscous mineral oil, special lithium-based thickener and functional additives provide excellent wear protection and load-carrying capacity. MoS2 and graphite provide emergency lubricating properties when the lubricating film is adversely stressed.
Product Description
Klübersynth GH 6-680 is a heavy-duty lubricating grease designed for rolling bearings subject to extreme loads and low rotational speeds. It is based on highly viscous mineral oil (ISO VG 1500), a special lithium-based thickener and particularly effective EP/AW additives.
The grease contains the solid lubricants MoS2 and graphite. These provide emergency lubricating properties and additional reliability when the lubricating film is adversely stressed, such as under high oscillation, friction or starved lubrication conditions. Klüber states that FAG FE 8 tests have confirmed its effectiveness for these demanding bearing conditions.
Klübersynth GH 6-680 also provides good corrosion protection and reliable compatibility with sealing materials such as NBR elastomers. The product is intended for highly loaded, low-speed rolling bearings and is used in demanding applications such as roller presses, bowl mill crushers and other heavy-duty equipment.
Texture – homogeneous, long-fibred. Colour space – black. Density at 20°C – approx. 0.92 g/cm³. Minimum shelf life – approx. 36 months in the unopened original container, stored in a dry, frost-free place.
