The Spray Lubrication Unit (SPU) is a complete automatic gear spray package built around an air-operated pumping station, a measuring valve panel and one or more spray nozzles, designed to apply an intermittent, film-maintaining coat of lubricant across large open gear and pinion sets.
Spray Lubrication Unit (SPU)
A packaged spray lubrication system that periodically sprays lubricant onto large girth gears and pinions, sized to the gear face width and girth gear diameter for accurate coverage of the critical tooth contact area.
Product Description
The SPU combines an air-operated pumping station, a measuring valve panel and a spray nozzle lance with electrical controls to deliver metered bursts of lubricant onto open gear teeth as they rotate past the nozzle.
