Product Description
The BCH BPX Range Plug & Socket is an industrial-grade power connector series designed for safe, reliable connections in demanding site conditions. Every product in the range is tested for temperature-rise, mechanical life, flame-retardant material behaviour, surge voltage, vibration, high and low temperature performance, ingress protection and mechanical impact, with results that exceed standard requirements.
Available in 3, 4 and 5 Pin configurations covering 16A to 125A, the BPX range is compliant with EN/IEC 60309-1 & 2 international standards and is tested for IP44 and IP67 ingress protection. The connectors resist ageing (tested at 80°C for 7 days), pass glow-wire fire-resistance testing at 650°C on the body shell and 850°C on the inner core, and offer high insulation resistance and dielectric strength for safe, long-lasting operation.
